Are you just finishing second year and start thinking about life as a junior? Here are five things to do in the next school year.

1st Take all of your standardized tests
The best advice I can give students to complete all the standardized tests by the end of the year your junior.

Countless students have before the error, the tests had been staying during the summer after Äîthen to turn this plan into a disaster in the fall, when so many other tasks requiring attention.

2nd Get the best grades possible
Nothing is more significant for college admissions, because, as you complete your junior year.

Why? By the time you reach your Junior Year in high school, you have settled in routine and matured to the point that schools can see how you perform in school. The courses will want to see more and more demanding, higher education and how to deal with the pressure.

The classes you take, speak volumes about your motivation and the extent of their intellectual curiosity. If you get an A in a class as a sophomore, you should use a more sophisticated class of next year.

3rd Participate in the class for great recommendations
In high school, students do not want others see it as the “Äúteacher, AOS pet. Au But you know what?

Wht College is so Important to me:

My mother and I immigrated to the United States when I was 2 years old. My mother wanted this risk, because life was hard to take in Mexico, and when she had me, she knew that the future would be uncertain.

After 15 years in the United States, we have our green cards, which gave us the opportunity to visit our family back in Mexico will for the first time in more than a decade. Travelling to Mexico was an eye-opening experience back, which really helped me to understand how many opportunities I have success here in the States.

I was surprised that is optional in Mexico to go to school. At first I thought that was not going to school a privilege. But the truth of the matter was that the students leave school to work, although the average amount earned Äîeven works in a restaurant had been only $ 50 per week!

My mother has always stressed the idea of a good education. I didn, AOT understand this concept to high school. In the tenth grade, I realized I would need to improve my grades, a chance to have a good college, and ultimately to work towards a successful future.

Until my junior year, I was not doing as well as I could. But I could turn everything and get A, B and AOS, AOS my Junior Year, which made me very proud. This proved to me that I all I set myself to accomplish.

This year was very stressful for me, but my grades, I could always stable. I have spent countless nights writing essays for scholarships and try to do my homework at the same time. I have received three scholarships from universities I applied, it makes me very proud!

Not only do I find going to college, an achievement for me, but I feel that all immigrants goes to college is a way of tribute to those who died trying to reach a better life, have to pay, and for those who do not have the same opportunities as us here in the United States.

As a young Hispanic, I feel much more we have to offer to America than just our hard work, and college is the opportunity for us to get the training, we need to make those dreams come true!

You know a few colleges already: the famous, local, and some examples of out, that have a football championship or the heart of your older cousin won.

But what about the few thousand other colleges out there? How do you know about this? How do you think about Senior Year, here is some advice about how to find your best college game.

FAIRS
Go to college fairs

College fairs are in your high school gym or a local convention center instead. At a college fair, you have the opportunity to talk with representatives and obtain information about their schools.

As a guide, I can do the same. I think it really helps prospective students.”

We are back. Excited? I’m thrilled. And look, the column is with the title this year. That’s What Melanie Said. See what I did there? Put my name in place of sh- you have it, okay, cool. We are already rolling. This is a leadoff double. 
Colin at the meeting a little more than a month have now, and it seems in general students were not as enthusiastic as usual, and I think it is strange that we are all excited still so about Sarah Palin’s resignation. It’s like, Hey guys, it was not THAT gre-oh, you know what, there could be no backpacks in the locker room. … Probably both.
Anyway, I’m not a fan of this rain on my parade September. Summer’s decent enough – when hitting beaches and taking vacations and unbridled freedom, and Dave Matthews are your cups of tea – but we should all rise by at least a mini-out of the back-to-school time. The corridor and awkwardness and pickleball Bosco Sticks combined … as impeccable! My three favorites! This is what people mean when they rave about LT. I’m pretty sure.
It’s the dark side, if, that is, backpacks v. locker rooms, which only reinforces cynicism. Never a good thing. I could go off at any moment … Swearing, raging, storming a stage somewhere and mouthing off about whatever, maybe Beyonce music videos, maybe physics worksheets, it could be anything … and it would probably ugly.
Unless, of course, Channel I, the vitriol in this column. It works better for all this: I do not have to unleash my inner Kanye, and you have not seen me unleash my inner-Kanye. Win-win. And here, where we will begin “to see where / Class of 2013.” Oh, yes. Yes, yes, yes. Finally … hear the bell, it tolls for the LT class slogans.
Below are the last four years, we are all on their toes: “Define / Class of 2012″, “It all began in 2007/Here we are in the class of 2011″, “From beginning to end / you enjoy class 2010 “and” Our Time To Shine / Class of 2009. ”
I feel no need – press or otherwise – in class, why are LT slogans go, in a very general sense, the worst running tradition on the planet. It seems undeniable self-evident truth than anything else. I would love to mock them individually, but there are only so many words – and while it is hard to pick just one to go with particular we 2012th I’m embarrassed just typed up with it. I feel a little less intelligent every time I can read. And (AND!) They skimped on the cheesy rhyme. The 2012-class slogan is a direct attack on everything right and holy and well-read in this world – in other words, a lyric Soulja Boy. Not okay.
And here’s the thing: the class slogans consistently fall far short of the “So silly, funny almost to End ‘field, which is what they are for his shooting, but more critically, you get the feeling that some administrators simply sat in his office , thinking, “Alright … has seen thirteen … mmm … rhyme? lakes here … to be here … Got it. God is lyrical. I AM THE NEXT Dylan. moderns Whitman, right over here, “then high-fiving themselves, and that’s it. I can guarantee in any way that they know exactly how it happened, but that’s exactly how it happens.
Of course I have it: “I would throw this t-shirt, but would not mean the kind? / Eh, threw it anyway, Class of 2014!” Or, “Bruce Springsteen is a great song called Bobby Jean / I’m listening to my iPod, Class of 2015!” Or, not in the epic rhyme vein of 2012, “these CLASS slogans are so stupid / I SEE NO REAL to eliminate them completely disadvantage, Class 2016! “And those are just from the top of my head! LT slogan guru, you call me. Could not get worse.
One would hope.
